Nirdesh is conducting regular training programmes at its Calicut campus and at other locations. Training programmes include shipbuilding orientation for young engineers, information updating for middle-level executives and workshops for senior executives. Specific, Focused programmes are also conducted to cover specializations such as Naval Architecture, Marine/ Electrical Engineering/Electronics applicable to warships, Detailed Design, Ship Production, QA, Planning, Project Management, Shipbuilding Processes, IT, Shipyard Infrastructure, Commercial aspects, HR, Admin, Finance, Contract management, Industrial Relations, Govt. Policies and all such areas that have a bearing on the shipbuilding industry. These programmes, aimed at improving core competencies of all categories of shipbuilding personnel need expert faculty.

Nirdesh seeks to empanel experts with suitable background, adequate experience and flair for teaching as faculty. Serving/retired officers/executives/engineers/scientists/academicians of Indian Navy/ Indian Coast Guard/ Shipyards/R&D organizations/Academic Institutions and other professional bodies may forward their CVs to headofficenirdesh@gmail.com and pd.nirdesh@gov.in

The CV should consist of personal details, academic qualifications, professional experience, areas of expertise, teaching/training experience(if any) and contact details. It should clearly state the name & address of the organisation / employer in case of serving experts. A signed hard copy of the CV along with recent passport size photograph is also to be forwarded to HEAD OFFICE, NIRDESH, Chaliyam PO, Calicut- 673301 in an envelope superscribed "FACULTY EMPANELMENT".

Only individual experts will be considered for empanelment, based on their CV. Empanelled experts will be invited to conduct lectures as faculty at Nirdesh training programmes. An honorarium will be paid for the lectures conducted, as per Government guidelines and their travel and boarding expenses will be reimbursed. Empanelment as faculty does not entail the right of employment with Nirdesh. It also does not entitle regular engagement for lectures. Nirdesh reserves the right to invite any empanelled or other faculty for its training programmes.
